Hi there!

I’m Erin, and I’m a boutique portrait photographer based in central Oregon.

I’m different from many of the other portrait photographers out there. I believe that photographs of those you love the most deserve to be displayed boldly on the walls of your home where you can enjoy them every day. My goal is to take care of you, listen closely, take carefully considered, beautiful and curated photographs of you and yours, and ultimately, my goal is to help you decorate your home with gorgeous custom printed art pieces.

A few other things about me worth knowing (though most have almost nothing to do with your photos):

  • I’ve been taking photos since I was given my first camera for my 9th birthday. It was one of those long rectangular cameras that takes 110 cartridge film, it was hot pink, and I loved it. I eventually got a “real camera” in high school and have been playing with light and compositions ever since.

  • I love dogs. Like, I really love them. We currently have two pups - a grumpy older heeler mix gal named Wren, and a fun-loving maniac of a border collie mix boy named Arlo. I also like cats a lot, but dogs are my jam. I would be ecstatic to include your pets in your session!

  • I have been a dedicated public servant for almost 20 years, working first for the Federal Highway Administration and then for the National Park Service, and all of those years were spent doing environmental compliance work for transportation projects on public lands. You could say I’m a roads and trails nerd, and if you have any questions about NEPA or want to know more about our local ecology or even what the heck is up with all this construction, I’m darn good at answering those questions!

  • I get a kick out of kid tantrums. Maybe it’s because I don’t have kiddos of my own so I don’t deal with them on the daily, but it cracks me up when a kid loses their mind because the sippy cup is the wrong color. This is life, and I wish everyone could see just how joyful it is even in the middle of a complete meltdown.

  • My husband and I are what you might call “outdoors-y.” We are especially into mountain biking and skiing, but really anything that gets us outside with the wind in our hair and preferably with a dog or two at our sides is super awesome fun-times.
